Yellow in the City

Even from a distance, the yellow facade of Flinders Street Station in Melbourne seems to stand out in the streetscape.
In the foreground is a part of Federation Square, the hub of Melbourne, where there are shops and a stage and a huge outdoor screen and the entrance to an art gallery.
This photo was taken early on a recent Spring Sunday morning.

I like that yellow but buildings near by look interesting - what are they?

So nice to see spring developing for you. We are seriously into fall right now in Seattle, with big rain and wind and the whole deal.

Such a beautiful building and a beautiful day for your photograph.

My yellow is a beautiful sari - but you can only see part of it, with lots of bangles...including one orange one.

Interesting artwork on the buildings. And how hard to photograph 2 yellow cars in front of the yellow building! We have grey skies here, and rain.

I just read that in ancient China, yellow was the color of authority. Who knew?
